About the event
1 hour concert featuring the world premiere of 'Chameleonidae' by Ben Harlan alongside more music inspired by the natural world. When searching for inspiration to create, composers have turned to nature for centuries. Whether it’s as vast as an entire planet or as specific as the dance of a singular butterfly, every piece in this programme has been influenced by nature in some form. With endless combinations of instruments and a variety of styles at Chameleon’s disposal, the theme of the concert transcends any one, particular sound and instead becomes an opportunity to hear the beauty and uniqueness of everything nature has to offer.
