Music in Quiet Places Recital

From the folk-inspired orchestral melodies of Dvorák to the serene piano music of Amy Beach; the lively rhythms of Scottish folk tunes to the rich vocal harmonies of a John Bennet madrigal, the programme pairs the old with the new, the familiar with the unexpected.
